Rand Construction recently broke ground on a new Biological Station for the Great Lakes Fishery Commission (GLFC) in Marquette, MI. The scope of the project is 44,175 square feet comprised of two structures used for office, shop, and storage functions. The GLFC is a bi-national commission made up of representatives from the US and Canada. The GLFC coordinates fisheries research, controls the invasive sea lamprey, and facilitates cooperative fishery management among the state, provincial, tribal, and federal agencies. Rand Construction is honored to be associated with such a well-respected organization.
“The design/build approach was definitely the right choice for us.”
